Training with Dizzy Dogz
Dogs: Must be
generally fit. Must be socially adjusted as they will be in the company of other dogs and handlers working off lead. Must
have very basic "Pet" obedience, sit, wait and come when called is sufficient.
Handlers:
Must have patience and a sense of humour! Must be prepared to do a little homework with their dogs and attend classes regularly.
We do not hold places in groups for occasional visitors when someone else would like that place.
Training methods:
We use only positive reward based training and anyone handling their dog in a harsh way or wearing a choke chain will be told
to leave. Treats, toys and kind words work!!!
Group
size: Handlers and dogs want to get on and train not stand in a queue waiting their turn! Group are
typically 4/5 dogs 6 being absolute maximum.

Our training venue
is 2 miles South of Kidderminster a short distance from the A449. We use 2 areas: The main training course and a smaller area
where handling exercises are set up. In this way 2 handlers and dogs are working all of the time.
We also have
a small meadow at Bransford which we use from time to time.
